I am very happy to inform you about Deshpande Susandhi fellowship program has started to receiving applications for the Fifth batch. If you find any suitable candidate in your network please forward this message to them.

DSF is a 4 month residential skill-based training program that serves to the rural youth. The primary focus of the program is to provide fellows with employability, professional and leadership skills that will enable them to gain employment in fields such as marketing, sales and logistics management.

The program consists of 20 modules which include courses that range from effective communication, leadership, marketing, English, and technology to basic finance courses.  Along with learning hard skills, fellows are taught basic operations skills required to work at any organization. In addition to enhancing their employability levels, fellows are encouraged to open their own small-scale enterprises. Deshpande Foundation gives them a platform through which they can gain access resources required to run their own small-scale enterprises.

Eligible Criteria
1) she/he must be between the age of 18-25 (Exceptions up to the age of 35 for the those who want to start their own enterprise.)
2) SSLC (She/he should be above the age of 18 years old)
3) 10+2 year education qualification (JOC/ITI, Diploma, Degree, D.ed, B.ed)
4) We encourage women to apply as well.
